Mark Milotich has led leadership and talent management workshops for us over the past several years, mostly on soft skills such as emotional intelligence or decision-making. Mark is a highly engaging individual and an exceptional facilitator. I had the opportunity to meet him at his “Influencing in the Matrix” workshop. He presents topics in such an interesting way that it never gets boring. He showed me and the other participants where my personal strengths lie and how I can use them most effectively. One example of successful implementation in daily business was supporting a team member in an escalating situation. First, we addressed the person directly, and then worked together to identify a solution. I found the exercise of bringing in a neutral third party to present the problem impartially during difficult conversations to be an invaluable learning experience. The 'perception – impact – desire' method, which examines the perspectives and intentions of each party, can be very helpful in this regard. In the best-case scenario, this can result in a change of attitude among those involved.

Mark facilitated an offsite workshop with my leadership team in 2019. Through Mark’s skilled facilitation and effective questioning, we were able to focus our discussions and agree on several actions for improving our teamwork. I had the pleasure to work with Mark Milotich, a change management consultant with Claxus GmbH, in 2010 and 2011 as we lead a strategic re-set, restructuring and a "world class" change management process with our EMEA business of our Global Evaporative Cooling business unit. The Evap President and I worked to re-set the product strategy, restructured the business, and hired a new regional GM to run the business. The most successful part of the project was the follow-on change process that Mark designed that engaged the new leadership and the EMEA team with their new roles aligned to the strategy. Every employee became aligned with the new strategy and turned around the business in 2011 and are now achieving record results in 2012.
